I don't think people have time to hear Shaggy Dog stories anymore like they used to. When you hear one these days, it harkens back to another era. --Previous Message-- : To be honest, I forgot where it came from. It is quite punny : : --Previous Message-- : I see you enjoyed this when I posted it two days ago. : : --Previous Message-- : Every morning the marine biologist would feed the porpoises in the aquarium. The : porpoises love seagulls; apparently they tasted good, but, more importantly, they : made the porpoises "randy" and ready to make more porpoises. So, when the : biologist wanted to encourage breeding, he'd fee the porpoises seagulls in the : morning. One day early in mating season he was about to feed the porpoises : seagulls. But as he walked out to the porpoise tank, he saw a lion sleeping on the : walkway over the tank that he needed to walk on to feed the porpoises. The animal : seemed to be sleeping soundly, so the biologist just quietly stepped over the lion. : Suddenly a squad of FBI agents swooped down on the biologist, and arrested him. The : criminal charge: transporting gulls across a staid lion for immoral porpoises. : : : : :
