I've heard that it's tough to get VHS players repaired. In addition to the electronics, those machines contain a lot of rubber parts that break or harden with age.
It seems like only yesterday that every town had three or four video-rental stores. Now, Blockbuster seems like a quaint reminder of a bygone past.
