Bob has made a couple of changes to the original arrangement here. First, he has lowered the key from D to C - he used to perform it with the same C-form chords but capoed up 2 frets, a concession to age, I'm sure. Second, I'm fairly sure that on the HWGA album, Bob was using a flat pick on the song - you can hear at points the slight click as the pick hits the strings, and he had just started using a pick extensively on At Large. But Bob returns to his roots with the barehanded strum that is a major element iof the sound of T996. The old guy still has it....
