I have appreciated your insights, especially regarding the change of horses. I've never understood the anger toward the new-guys since Bob and Bobbie made the switch (and I think their reasons were honorable). I don't want to re-start the controversy here, so I'll just repeat my thanks for your prior posts. - Meade
: Robert, dear friend, I wasn’t trying to stir up any controversy. There’s been enough
: of that already. Truly there has. I was just trying to spread some news about
: what’s happening… good news… not bad or controversial. And isn’t it true that
: raising money to help poor, single, teen-aged moms and their babies get a helping
: hand is good news?
: As a matter of fact, wasn’t it determined that we posters were going to throttle
: down the rhetoric because we all – all of us – have opinions about why Bob and
: Bobbie changed horses in the middle of the stream? Can we please move on and simply
: post about what's going on with Mike, Josh, and Tim's work as the Trio?
: Would you rather I not post on Crossroads?

: Last year, my wife and I attended almost 40 KT concerts ending the day music
: died-September 23rd. There is NO WAY, I would even walk across the street to see
: these rank amateur Kingston Trio wanna be make a fool of themselves particularly
: after the way George, Bill, and Rick were treated.

: Ya'll come...! We are moving into the last 30 days before the 2/17/18 Valentine's
: Kingston Trio Concert at the awesome Fox Theatre. We'll sell out 1,140 seats just
: like we have always done: 2002, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2014, and 2016.
: So far Tony and Barbara Lay are coming out from Atlanta and Tom Sanders from Tunica,
: MS. A bunch of others are thinking about making the trip. We hope you do too.
: C'mon, Tom Craig. You can do it.
: We're having the concert as a fund raiser for YoungLives, a division of Young
: Life... a faith-based ministry that mentors single, teenaged moms and their babies.
: In 2016 we were able to sell out and give $22,000 to the charity. This year we're
: shooting for $30K+. We're excited to see the guys. Tucson IS a Kingston Trio Town
: and we have enjoyed great moments over the years.
: I talked to Mike Marvin earlier today about concert details and he remarked that
: they have 30 signed concert agreements between now and February, 2019. We wish them
: the best.
: Oh, almost forgot. I've also been fortunate enough to be the driving force for
: getting three of those 30 gigs: In addition to Tucson we also have Prescott, AZ on
: 4/27/18 and Scottsdale on 4/29. Each one will be a fundraiser for YoungLives...!
: Wish us luck. Any of you who've ever been the promoter/presenter know how much work
: is ahead - right Ben? Right Rich?
