I've had an OM1-GT for about six years, and find it's not so easy to play for some reason. Then a few weeks ago I bought the 000M I posted about here and it's a breeze to play. It's actually a joy to play. Now, to my eye anyway, both guitars seem to be identical except for the pickguards. But today, I finally had a brainstorm and measured the fingerboard at the nut and found the OM1 is 1-3/4 inches and the 000M is 1-5/8 inches. So, DUH... the easier to play guitar has a narrower fingerboard. But how the hell does one-eighth of an inch make so much difference? While I can still find specs on the OM1, I can't find any on the 000M because it's a lot older. Anyone else notice a difference in playability between these two size fingerboards? Thanks.
