I can only
: speculate that John and Nick had some influence in healing the rift between Bob and
: Dave. Again, more personal stuff, Bob has not cared to share.
Unfortunately, perhaps, this never really happened. At Fantasy Camp, Bob still expresses some - unhappiness is probably the safest word - for Dave Guard and his actions before and during his separation from the KT. And I do not mean this as "Bob told me one day..." The last time he said some stuff about DG was at breakfast with about 10 other people two years ago at the Scottsdale Plaza. The healing the rift - like the paper napkin contract - is a good story but not one grounded in reality, beyond the fact that at least the two of them did not end Dave's days at each others' throats.
: John Stewart is an interesting part of the Kingston Trio story. Thank you for
: reproducing this clip.
: The proposed "Stewart, Reynolds, &
: Guard" group had to be a huge balm for all three men. How I'd love to hear a
: recording of the three men trying to get something down on tape.
I posted this when Tom Guard uploaded it to SoundCloud a bit more than a year ago. It's a concert recording of Guard, Reynolds, and Stewart - not smooth but lots of fun. Comments under the sound file include some from Josh Reynolds.
