Fretboard Journal is a slick glossy with lots of articles about beautiful guitars and banjos. Really a treat of a mag to sit in Barnes and Noble and read without buying. This month there is a feature article about the Pete Seeger long neck Vega banjo, how Pete came up with the idea, how Vega got on to it, etc. A verg good article with loads of photos of Pete's banjo and specs, and all the good stuff. I believe someone else mentioned this a few days ago, but when I read it, I found there was an insert article about how Vega marketed the banjo.
Cazart! The article did the Trio some long overdue justice, saying that the Trio did more to help market the Pete Seeger longneck than Pete or anyone else ever did. Some really kind comments about the Trio. Talks about how Dave Guard was first in line to get one when they started production. Includes words from George Grove and a paragraph about George's new "semi" long neck. A pleasure to read.
