Dear friends,
Grab a pint of your favorite beverage, because we have a lot of exciting news to report. (notice we said 'pint' as a shameless plug for our knot pint glasses, but you can use an ordinary glass too, we won't mind). The 40th Anniversary Series releases have arrived (well, arrived as pre-orders to the shop, with manufacturing in progress), as well as much more, so please continue to read on for all the scoop. When your colleagues at work begin to discuss the latest football scores (European or American style, you choose), you can up the bar by telling everyone about the latest and greatest from the DGM shop.
In The Court Three Ways
If chefs can offer scallops, or other delicacies, three ways, we can offer one of the most pivotal (strike that, THE most pivotal) rock albums of all times three ways. Actually, the original master recording single disc version remains, so we bring news of three additional versions.
We begin with the 40th Anniversary series edition, a 5.1 Surround Sound mix & a new stereo mix (CD) from the original studio masters, by Steven Wilson, fully approved by Robert Fripp.
King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King - 40th Anniversary Series (DVD-A & CD)
Also available, for the equally discerning palate, is an expanded two-disc version with a completely new mix, and previously unreleased tracks.
King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King - (Deluxe 2CD)
And, the piece de resistance, what you have all been waiting for, the limited edition 5-CD, 1-DVD, box set. Please click on the following link to place an order or for more details.
King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King - Limited Edition Box Set
All three items will be shipped October 27th.
Red Lizard To Start?
Continuing with our menu theme, we offer two other releases in the 40th Anniversary series. Both 'Red' and 'Lizard' are available as two disc, CD and DVD-A, versions.
King Crimson - Red - 40th Anniversary Series (DVD-A & CD)
King Crimson - Lizard - 40th Anniversary Series (DVD-A & CD) (shipping November 10th)
UK Three Ways
Days of the jokes about English cooking are long gone, although Gordon Ramsay still thinks he is the only Michelin star deserving chef in the U.K. Pardon the non sequitur, but how else does one combine the menu theme with announcement the remastered versions of the original three UK albums are now available?
UK - Danger Money (2009 Remaster)
UK - Night After Night (2009 Remaster)
UK - UK (2009 Remaster)
Who Needs A Bib...
...when you can eat in style in the recently added long sleeve version of the Schizoid Shirt. (we hope bib is not one of those words that has a strange, alternate meaning in the U.K.).

To Accompany Your Meal
We suggest sides of the latest from Michael Giles and Judy Dyble. (For those who have pre-ordered either disc, we are waiting for the ship date for the Michael Giles CD and the Judy Dyble are en route to us so we will ship those out when they arrive.)
The Adventures of The Michael Giles MAD BAND (CD)
Judy Dyble - Talking With Strangers (Limited Edition)
Lest We Forget Libations
May we recommend the following to help wash down the incredible edible journey you have made thus far? Andrew Keeling has released another Musical Guide, this one ties in perfectly with the release of In The Court three ways. Other suggestions are WD-41 from Willie Oteri and Dave Laczko and Base3's Darkmatter.

Finally On The Menu
We thank all who pre-ordered Club 41 for their patience in waiting for manufacturing to be complete. All pre-orders have been mailed and Live in Zurich (makes us want some chocolate) is available for order.

DOS
We decided to choose both contestants who linked RF and Gwen Stefani in two steps as our winners. Congratulations to Ben Slater and Jason Anderson for stating that Gwen performed live with Andy Summers when the Police were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and we all know the connection between Andy and Robert. Moby was another common entry, but this required three steps. A few contestants also commented that Flea, who plays with Robert on the 'Sidi Mansour' album, assisted in recording a demo with No Doubt, but we were not able to find proof that he actually performed on the demo. If proof exists, please forward and we will send prizes to Bryan Adams and Brian Mafi (love the Don Pardo reference, btw!) as well.
New DOS
You know the rules....new artist is Rihanna. Please send entries to mailorder@dgmlive.com.
The Icing on the Cake
We were going to continue with our menu theme by offering a cheese course, but cheese has too many negative connotations, and nothing we offer on this shop is ever "cheesy". Please visit the 'New To The Shop Link' to quickly view all latest editions, including, last but definitely not least, 'The Incident', the September 2009 release from Porcupine Tree.
