I've been on the site. As a blues harp player I am mostly into reverb and tremolo effects and I built an analog delay pedal. I don't need or use fuzz or distortion - the harmonica comes across bad enough with most amps so you don't want to mess with it too much. My quest is for deeper and darker tone.
My own area of interest is tube amps and effects. I built a spring reverb using an spring tank and the chassis of an old radio taking advantage of the tube sockets and the low power transformers. I've built several 1957 Fender "Super Amp" clones. The tweed super is my favorite amp and it sounds good with old mics and harmonica.
