Sup KB. I just emailed thee. From the Freezine. The jist of it is this. (I'm not making any of this up, I promise.) Your submission--the Third Golden Eye--was accidentally deleted from its "Training Site" spot--you know the one. Sorry about that.
I have your latest file of it you sent - - with corrections, remember? So I began copying and pasting it in. Easy enough.
It's four pages long (if you recall).
The first 3 pages copied and pasted in fine. [Well, not exactly fine. You know how, when you left click with your mouse, and drag over the text -- how it highlights said portion of text- - and then you can just drag your mouse down the page -- highlighting as much of the text as you need -- and finally, you just hit CTRL-C - -to copy it - - and then, you can PASTE it in by hitting CTRL-V -? That's basic computer stuff.]
Well guess what. With your particular word-formatting, whatever it is, When I try to simply click & drag a copy of the text - - it only highlights random lines -- the longer ones -- leaving the shorter lines UNCOPIED - or rather, UNHIGHLIGHTED - - so that I am forced to carefully maneuver the mouse back - - at which point it catches the shorter lines - - meanwhile, if there are any even shorter lines than those- - it SKIPS OVER THEM, TOO - - forcing me to re-maneuver the mouse - so that I'm effectively scribbling the mouse around in order to highlight every line -- then and only then could I succeed in capturing every line of your poem, in order to CTRL-C it, then CTRL-V it into the Training Site blog.
I did this. No sweat.
But here's the curious part of your haunted software. Page 4 of your submission [which contains the last 8 lines] is rendered extremely small and completely blurred out of focus!
That's right: The last time I chose to VIEW this 4-page manuscript, it rendered the 4th page without a hitch, in the proper font-size and focused. But TODAY, the SAME DIGITAL FILE is rendering ONLY the LAST page in TINY, BLURRED print that cannot be read.
Your software is some weird shit, man. It's a .pdf, but that's all I know about it.
I need that final page, with its requisite 8 lines. In the meantime, I haven't the slightest clue as to what could technically cause this strange and unpredictable behaviour -- behaviour! - - text files shouldn't behave, last I knew - - with your ThirdGoldenEye.file- - -thingie.
Its some weird shit I tells ya.
Maybe some PC-savvy peeps here can shed some light on this strangeitude?
In the meantime--I await your reply at the Freezine gmail, KB. thanx.
