so you are saying these are real groups? It sounds like a pitch for a tv show or something of the sort. I don't really see how the the Mafia could be involved. Of course, knowing the actual secrets of enlightenment would preclude anyone in the know from involving themselves in an organization obsessed with control. But with some tinkering you could make it the basis of some sort of novel perhaps.
