I'm not sure if this has been brought up here before, but what does everyone think of the Google Books project?
My read on it is rather simplistic. Mr. Google uses a slight corruption of the old hacker manifesto line of "information wants to be free." All well and good, to a point, but when you can hide behind all the lawyers money can buy, isn't it ever so slightly nefarious?
