it was many years before his demise that he took DMT...in fact, towards the end, many were accusing him of 'walking his talk' because they were not happy about his (lack of) intake...
but that aside, what makes you say that he lost the distinction between objective and subjective?
anyone who can hold an audience spellbound for hours has to have more than good dope in his head...
