I just managed to see it today. I know it was a good movie, but I guess my complaints are more aimed at the marketing of the film. Specifically the trailers. There was far to many different trailers playing too much. I like to watch movies with as little info as possible, normally just going off the summary or whose involved. The trailers had atleast one frame from every scene the basterds were in. It was Shoshanna's story that was new and unknown. While a good story, it didn't hold the weight of the film. I am looking forward to 9 by Tim Burton. Alls I know is it's Tim Burton and a PG-13 animated post apacalyptic movie of stiched doll like people. Tim Burton and PG-13 was enough to both catch my interest and want to see it. I don't need any more information, it will ruin it for me. Thats what happened with the Basterds.
