MeKenna was all over KPFK Pacifica from midnight to 6am in the late 80's early 90's.... meet him at a signing with Iranian punk colledge radio friend at some hip SantaMonica bookstore and just sat there next to him the whole time surrounded by bookshelves of weird metaphysical books while he signed a pile of books giving advice to readers such as "cut down on your dosage" etc.... we were all on the same wavelength so it was really cool.... I was handing out copies Fripp xeroxes....
