I think that at the end of the day he made a career out of stoned rambling. as you said. But he was a very creative person and probably had some insights from time to time. But he lost track of the distinction between the neurological world and the objective world. Which is what happens when you do things like DMT.
So what's the deal on this:
"I do own copies of DMT: the Spirit Molecule and a collection of essays about hallucinogens, but I noticed after picking them up from the thrift store that they used to belong to the victim in a somewhat well-known murder. That was rather... off-putting."
