IT's too bad you haven't read THE OTHER END by John Shirley. You might find much relevance to these ideas.
Well, Ouspensky wrote that book BEFORE meeting Gurdjieff. Said book probably influenced similar ideas found in GNOSIS by Boris Mouravieff (in the third volume). Ouspensky's worldview toward the end of his life is better summed up in A NEW MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE. It was the sum of his researches, but is somewhat, well, fragmentary. His biggest influence, as we see from books written after Tertium, was of course Gurdjieff. He did not pursue this fourth dimensional elite idea in In Search of the Miraculous.
