Actually, the guy who wrote THE WRESTLER is this guy Robert Siegel, who apparently also used to be involved in THE ONION (why oh why did they stop distributing their hardcopy version in San Fran?!?).
And Siegel not only wrote but directed BIG FAN, the aforementioned Patton Oswalt vehicle about football. Out on the 28th.
