I think that there are two issues. The concept and idea of health care reform, and the bill as it is turning out to be.
I posted an article below that quotes David Himmelstein, MD. He is a spokesperson for Physicians for a National Health Program but has many valid concerns about this bill.
Physicians for a National Health Program is a non-profit research and education organization of 17,000 physicians, medical students and health professionals who support single-payer national health insurance.
