The wrist wasn't doing good according to sources early on. Now it seems that he could be back in the middle of September, but as bad as the dodgers are, I would like to see him come back next year and forget about this year.

J.D. Drew expects to be back no sooner than early September at this point. "I don't want to come back too soon and have it be a nagging injury," he told the L.A. Times. "I want to help the team, but I also want it to heal completely. In all honesty, I'd like to err on the side of caution because I know I have four more years here. You can't let emotion dictate the decision." He might play a few minor-league games first (the Triple-A season ends Sept. 5). "There is still soreness in the rotation part of it," Drew told the paper. "But I definitely have a lot more range than before."
