I just returned home from a week in Vegas. What a week it was. Our trip was to go see the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals, and I have to say it was incredible. It just so happens well I was there the SKUSA kart race was on also. Now that was an eye opener. F1 Drivers, Indy car Drivers, IRL Drivers. Millon Dollar motorhomes, Millon Dollar tow rigs...Just to race GO Karts. But after you get over all the fluff, and watched the racing it was very entertaining and simple . JR. 1 Comer, 80cc JR.2, TAG. Sen., TAG Masters, ICA and ICC.
Easy to understand , fun to watch and guess what; no politics. Let's look at TAG; every engine manufacturer represented. Classes were packed. The top 10 finishers were every engine combination made.It makes me wonder when will we get karting back to basics in BC? I saw the best of the best go at it with no whiners. No separation, his engine is better then mine. Only the best came to the front to produce a true winner. To me it all looked just so simple.

P.S. congratulations to Colby Jenn and Mike McGowen for their Third place finish in TAG SR.
