The 22 car that crashed in Saratoga was fixed and raced the following night. They replaced the front axle and all the radius rods, wings, and shocks. They had both cars out at the Wilroc season finale at Western, one in complete NSRA trim and the other in Wilroc trim which raced that night while Dave Smith hotlapped the other (NSRA) one in practice. You have to be carefull when buying an older sprinter, for a couple years there they where building them pretty lightweight and flimsy (like the old "Touch-It-Bend-It" TibiKarts)with thinwall tubing....not very rugged and definately not suited to be converted to a pavement car.
