Or you can do what we did and purchase a rolling chassis and put a motor in it.For example, I know of a complete Gambler rolling chassis for 4k sitting on a trailer less engine, its a bit rough but has potential. We got a 2001 Lejeune with all the latest updates to the chassis and suspension as a complete roller less engine but including a trailer for 12K. A motor, fuel system and oil system can cost between 10-30k (15k is a NICE motor) depending on the quality of parts used and who puts it all together. A healthy per-race budget is about $650 and this includes fuel and tires. Last season Wilroc payed each car that started the main event about $340 in cash each night thanks to contingency sponsors. The purse for next season should be bigger and with rumour of a 100k purse for the Vernon race at Sun Valley Speedway (10k to the winner), there should be more money on tap for the teams to help ease the race to race expenses. Race entry fees are $25 at the back gate and a membership fee of $10 to join Wilroc. .....Hey Dave, I also have some sponsorship opportunities available Guy
