I live in Campbell River, for me it is 4.5 hours round trip to Duncan, There have been several members that live a further 3.5 hours north of me for them Duncan is a 11.5 hour round trip. There for the six to seven hous I stated some members would have to travel is incorrect some would have to travel for much longer. I stated that Courtenay/Cumberland is a little over a two hour drive north of Victoria, for your interest 2 hours and twenty minuits is about right. Again I live in Campbell River we are a further 40 minuits north of Cumberland/Courtenay. And while it is not "uphill one way" as you state, I can assure you it is up Island one way!
