The dark fem did a three-sixty, red to purple patches dancing on her black base coat like a starry night in a magnetic field when the light from the trees touch the soft texture. Nova's emerald eyes swept the tree obscured sky, picking out the patterns of blue, gray, and white as they battled for who would control the heavens today. Due to the falling snow, her bet was on the pale gray that already owned the northeastern horizon. A soft billow of wind blew through the wooded area, sending the red feather on the girl's necklace into her face. It stuck to her nose, causing the pup to sneeze hard enough to knock her over. Nova stood, shaking off the cluster of snow she'd picked up from the ground, laughing at herself.
"Mm, yeah," Nova answered Aster, eyes still flicking here and there. Her attention was caught by a shower of falling leaves, stirred by the wind that had come through. A large, orange oak leaf fluttered down above her, emerald eyes completely caught by it's motion. As it drew closer, the little fem crouched, tail and rear waggling in the air. She jumped, missing the leaf by a few centimeters. As she came down, she whipped around and leaped for it again, this time catching it and proceeding to tear the dead foliage to shreds, red and purple tipped tail wagging happily behind her.
Black Rose perked up at Aster's comment, the red and white fem giving a glance around with her own emerald eyes. Aster may have been fully red like Flaming Rose, but Black Rose was the only one of her siblings that had the rose print on her chest and bud shaped markings on her shoulders. They may have been black, but it was definitely such a unique pattern that it was a one out of millions chance of her parents producing such a pup.
White paws picked up their pace, charging Aster with a giggle, white fringed tail high in the air. She pounced him, smile on her face. "Yup, fantastic," she said, tail giving a bit of a wag. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she wondered what Vendetta and Meteor Rain were doing. Mom was going to be so mad when she came home and found that the rest of them had gone out too...
