Orchid listened attentively, she was not a jealous fem, which was the weirdest thing since her irrational fears came creeping into her head, it would make since if Rituo had come by and talked to Cross Fire that it should make her jelous, but she was not afraid of another fem, that she could handle. It was the fear that she was just not good enough for anyone, to be anyone's love, mother or lower beta...that fear. It was the single most fear that manifested itself in many ways...
She shifted only slightly in her seat as she listened to the story, the family was trouble from the start Orchid had an itching gut feeling about them, a mistake from the beginning.
