Orchid was home when Cross Fire came but she was doing some cleaning before meeting up with MaKya and heading out for a walk so as he moved into the den, Orchid was pushing out some old bed lining. With a small snort she nearly rammed head first into his chest. "Oh hey!" she said a little excited and perturbed to have her work halted. It was becoming winter and Orchid's winter coat was growing in a little more luscious this year. Her scrawny summer coat would have to be back next year and as this new thick coat shed she would us it as the new summer lining, but until then she cleaned the den, and the bed since her children were all growing up she had to make sure that their beds were still there and yet it did feel like a livable space when they were not around. It had been cramped with flying fur and dust for a while and so she'd used her water and ice blessing to get them on the grown and fast.
So as she pushed it out of the main entrance she had not expected to see Cross Fire, usually around this time he was working on some important Higher beta stuff...or beating the crud out of his grandson. So Orchid turned to head back in the den when he'd come, it must be important she thought.
