Orchid had not been so much busy as she was sad still. Hurt in many ways mostly wondering how on earth would she deal if there was more to come. Orchid had been hiding out on walks, not really wanting to be next to Ceto and Rouv most of the time, but really regretting not being around Lutra and Ky as often as she should. She did have two lovely children, now teenagers, that were her blood that carried her love but she was so much afraid that they would tare her heart apart too.
She looked at Ky as they walked he'd grown so big, not so much bigger than his father, actually Seg's size and brown and gray in color, the only reminisce of Orchid he had were her piercing blue eyes, those baby blues. She sighed silently as he looked at her and she looked away, it was her new greatest fear, that she would fail ultimately at being their mother. It was something that gripped her throat most nights, when she could not talk with Cross Fire, or when it was just her left alone in the den, afraid to go out and seek any one of them out, fear of rejection, of having to face failing miserably.
Ky was pretty silent, he was a reflective young male. His awkward months had set in pretty badly as his long legs and big paws made him look gangly, but he did not worry, he knew the ugliest of ducks became the biggest of brooders. With chests so huge you'd just flap your wings against them, feys died to rub against them. He smiled to himself his inner thoughts only on not being so ugly anymore. He lifted his nose as the wind started to drift, he smelled his sister Lutra, "Ma. Lutra's home!" He said excited as he took off running.
Orchid was not far behind she'd knew they would grow up and have their own dreams and their own thirst for knowledge it's just she thought always that Ceto would take the same route of her sister and brother and know their place their blood line and be so proud as to keep it close to their hearts. But could Orchid really ask such a thing, Ceto was not of her own blood, or Seg she was a pup that was given a second chance at life by Apollo.
This whole fold of life was hard, they were his it was the only father they knew, until now as Apollos world came crashing in. And Cealia had always heard, her ears had been many in the pack during the whispers, oh how rumors could change a family...as Cealia clung to her father...leaving her mother to be alone. And currently Cealia had gone again, at odds by all the changes and Orchid could not really blame her. As she walked to see Lutra Orchid smiled, it was genuine she truly adored the young growing fey. She's known about the bond blessing with Lucien and Orchid was fine with that choice, Lucien was a fine as any to be trusted with her little princess. So Orchid did not worry when Lutra was out, the bond blessing had Lucien with her even if not in person he would let no harm come of her, she was sure of it. Her smart little angel. "Hey love." She said lightly licking the teenage fem all over a mothers kiss, and Orchids need to clean. "How was your trip?" She asked standing back.
Ky sat pretty close to his sister he'd missed her.
