The large black brute sat, tail laying over his forepaws as he pondered this news. However brief Cross Fire was trying to make this, such an important matter could not be dismissed like it was trivial. The old wolf's news both disturbed and concerned Black Rain; was he letting a murderer sleep within his borders? Well, if that was surely the case, it wouldn't be allowed for very much longer. If there was something the dark wolf was sure of in his years despite his seeming youth, it was that people never change. They can appear to and some elements might truly shift, but deep down they are the same being they've always been. Sometimes they just express themselves a bit more freely.
"Is that so?" the large wolf asked, icy eyes turning to his Higher Beta with a stone cold expression. If there was one thing Black Rain wouldn't let happen, it was putting his pack in danger. This fem, Alue, had done many things since she joined Ice, all of which the understanding alpha had dismissed as ignorance and innocence. Well, with this news, that surely would not be the case in the future. After all, hadn't she swapped mates several times already since she came to Wolf Mountain? It just wasn't a good sign, not at all.
Cross Fire didn't need to be reminded of his own tale and Black Rain had gotten all the information the old wolf had provided, time to move on. "Yes, I believe you're talking about Rituo?" That was rhitorical. "She's given me an interesting tall too. It seems that Alue, despite her lies, is not Villo's sister. Rituo came from Villo's old pack and has never heard of her. She also gave me a warning." The wolf paused, icy blue eyes seeming to gain a little energy. This part was rather interesting.
"So Villo was the son of the alphas of Shadow pack, far off Wolf Mountain," he started, standing and slowly pacing between a couple yards and he relayed the story. "There was a pack member, Sebastian, who resented Villo for his favor among the alphas. This Sebastian rounded up a group of rebels and wiped out the pack. As far as Rituo knows, it's only she and Villo that survived. However, she's heard that this Sebastian knows their whereabouts and is on his way with a pair of followers to finish the job." Again, Black Rain paused, icy blue eyes flicking up daringly into the emerald gaze of his friend and father-in-law. "He plans to come her, Cross Fire. He wants to kill Villo and Rituo and wipe out this pack as he did theirs." For many unknown reasons, their was a grin on the brute's face.
