The brute was making rounds, figuring it was a good idea to mark all the borders over. Still tired from the battle for alpha, Black Rain walked with a weary fatigue, paws hitting the frozen ground a little heavier than they should. He stopped slowly as an unfamiliar scent caught his attention, icy blue eyes suddenly sharp and attentive. Continuing toward the scent at a job, Black Rain slowed down when the silhouette of the stranger came into sight.
The large brute closed the distance to a calling range, about ten yards from the other. Icy blue eyes raked over the other with curiosity, noticing the long tail and fur.. and harness? A frown creased the black wolf's features briefly, hoping the wolf wasn't injured. Human contraptions usually never did good. Adjusting his expression to a more open and friendly smile, Black Rain held his tail and head high, speaking loud enough to carry his youthful and jovulant voice to the stranger. "Might I help you?"
The brute walked a little closer, leaving a small space between them. He was easily twice as large as this wolf, as he was to most.
