The wolf was starting to feel the strain in his muscles. The battle was long and tiresom, the poison leaving a lingering fatigue. The copy of Black Rain walked with heavy steps toward a call he'd heard during the battle, letting his original sleep off the fight's effects in Flaming Rose's den. The large black wolf's icy blue eyes wandered the horizon ahead of him, looking for the newcomer. The black brute was almost startled when a pup came rushing up to him.
Easily a mammoth in comparison to the small fem's size, it almost ached Black Rain's neck to look down. Bending his front legs, he crouched so he was on eye level with the little fem, tail giving a wag and face breaking into a wide smile. Was it so obvious that he was alpha? This was all very new to him. "Of course you may join the pack," he said, youthful voice a little husky and worn from battle. "I'm Black Rain, newly positioned alpha of Ice Pack. Please tell me, what's your name." His face broke into a sudden look of confusion, eyes looking beyond the pup a moment before fixing back on her. "And where are your parents?"
