Black Rain's eyes narrowed at Seg's words, a soft, muffled growl escaping from where he held Seg's scruff. The hate etched deep within them stabbed at the brutes heart a little more physically than it should. He felt a suffocating panic wash over him, it was like drowning in perfectly good air. But Seg wasn't about to have it that easy. Like an invisible explosion, an unseen force burst from the wolf, earasing the feeling and dispersing the black cloud until nothing was there. The large wolf clamped his jaws tighter when the suffocation left, knowing his Death Stop blessing had worked perfectly. Pushing as roughly as his tired body could, Black Rain decided rubbing Seg into the dirt was acceptable seeing as he'd just tried to kill him with a last minute blow.

The imposter let go, lips lifting in a snarl. The poison was fading, leaving him feeling much more alert than before. "I hoped you wouldn't be that petty," he almost whispered, a bit of disbelief in his voice. The copy's ict blue eyes narrowed as he watched both wolves before him; his original and his former alpha. He'd learned a lot about blessings at his stay in Earth Pack. One of the things he picked up on was those who used the life or death blessing always fainted, no exclusions. Death Stop, though not commonly seen, was a little less draining. Even so, the two wolves in front of him were going to faint. Both had used so many blessings in this battle, it was inescapable. He would be left standing. "I'll see Flaming Rose when she is ready to come back to us," he said a little more firmly with a quick glance to the red feather hanging at his originator's chest. "As will you." The last words were slow and deliberate, blatantly stating that he had no intentions of killing Seg.

"Go to sleep, in the morning you will be well." While his original struggled to both cling firmly to conciousness and holding Seg down, the copy stared stiffly at the smaller wolf, though he spoke to both.
