(Hmmns.. seemed I missed that factor. But swap changes places, nothing about poses and actions. So my assumption would be that we switched places twice, you're still lunging at me and I'm doing whatever I chose to do.. Haven't looked at my post yet, but I will adjust it accoordingly in a second due to the fact that you grabbed the back ankle instead of the front as I though I read. One moment.)
Black Rain felt a shift in energy, two opposing forces being pulled toward one another, then away. He'd felt this before when training with some friends. It was the swap blessing. A smirk spread on the large wolf's face, engaging his own swap just after Seg's took place. He'd known what to expect, so Black Rain closed his eyes for the moment, opening them only when both swaps were through. Less confusion that way. When the scene came back to him, only a split second after it'd changed, he could see the imposter still latched onto Seg's tail, but blinking in confusion. It would have been confusing. Even now, the original could feel a slight sore spot where is tail had been in his own duplicate's jaws.
The wolf's icy blue eyes flicked to the spreading pool of acid in front of him where Seg stood, taking a step back as he watched it spread slightly. To his surprise, Seg's head ducked in under his vision. As a natural reaction, Black Rain moved away from the assailing jaws, but felt the fangs grab skin and tare. Though his ankle wasn't in Seg's hold, a good slash had been the result. As the larger black wolf moved his rear end away, his front end circled around, jaws opening and lunging for the smaller black wolf's scruff.
The imposter, though slightly confused with the poison and strange quick shifts, clamped tightly onto the tail that was in his mouth. Somehow, he knew he'd caught his originators, but that seemed null and void now that Seg's was back in place. He felt Seg's body lunge forward, yanking back as well and giving a good shake.
