Rei smiled warmly to both wolves, feeling almost sorry for Cross fire denying himself of what he most obviously wanted. But, Orchid pretty much hit the nail on the head. It really was up to them to decide what was going to happen. All the stars could tell her was compatability and hidden love.. They never really told the future, just what could be if will or want. The black and white wolfess pulled herself closer to Orchid with her front paws, leaning over to nose one of the peaceful pups gently. It was almost so long ago that she had her first litter. She wondered if Young would... Feeling herself blush, she stopped the thought and focused on the moment.
"Please call me Rei," she said softly to Cross Fire, deep blue eyes landing on him and tail giving a couple thumps on the floor. "You're as much family to me as Armony, Sen, and the rest." Glancing between Orchid and Cross Fire, she knew her input was needed here. "Well, I don't know if you know, but Flaming Rose, she's a bit of a wild card." Rei laughed at her own words. "I really can't tell you what to expect at first. She could be overjoyed, could be a bit sour at first. But, don't worry, either way she will still love and accept you. But you should probably expect a lot of questions."
The wolfess looked down to her paws. "I know I would have a lot to ask if my long lost father suddenly resurfaced..."
