He nodded to Midnight Rei a bit unsure of how to put what he wanted to say. "Its not really them I worry about." Cross Fire said quietly, "Its my daughter." He knew Orchid already knew of his fears... That she would hate, reject, maybe even send him away. "I sure hope your right though Midnight Rei." The older red wolf said not really sounded convinced.
He listened to Orchid's story about how they had met feeling a bit uneasy about everything she had said then with Rei's questioning tones quickly responded, "Yes, Friends." He said gruffly but not looking at anyone in the den he didn't want to comment on anything either had said afraid it may hurt him all over again like his past always have. Setting his head back on his paws his ears pinned to his head and he closed his eyes feeling he would just listen again, Orchid was doing a fine job explaining everything.
