Black Rain was readily awaiting Seg's response, muscles tensing and icy blue eyes watching every small movement of the other wolf's body. His eyes lingered for a moment on the smaller wolf's bared teeth, noticing the poisonous coating. He'd have to watch for that. Making a mental note, his icy eyes found a twitch in the brute's shoulder muscles a split second before the wolf actually began to move. His smirk twitched and he leapt into the air just before Seg reached him, feeling the brute's fur just missing the bottom of his paws. Black falcon's wings shot out between Black Rain's shoulder blades with a loud ruffle. He gave a few strong beats, gaining altitude fast. Turning in the air, Black Rain focused his icy blue eyes on the ground below where something different was about to happen.

Just behind Seg there was a rush of wind. Energy gathered in the spot, materializing in the shape of an identical Black Rain. The double's eyes narrowed on Seg and he lunged forward, jaws opened and aimed for the smaller wolf's left hind leg. His intent was to take hold of the soft tissue below the thight and above the knee.
