Cealia stayed...she would do as her mother told. Only because she did not want to see her father and uncle fight. She felt like Seg, siblings should not fight no matter the disagreement...of course the conflict came from all the time spent with Orchid the teachings were surely different. Orchid would lay her life down for Tulip but she would turn and fight if approached. It was the difference between the two. Cealia thought her parents moved to fast. The day they met, according to her moms story, he brought her home...made her his alphess...equal supposed to be. Cealia felt it should all have waited...seen each other often rather than instantly create a family. Cealia wouldn't make that mistake...she swore it to herself, as she lay on her bed looking out the port...where soon she would see fire erupt and tears would stream from her eyes...as she convince herself she let her father down for not being there.
Orchid had her head turned the other way...she would wait for the outcome. She would wait for it all...there was a lot to think about. She had only been honest, she had only held up her responsibility as acting Alphess...she never wanted the position she only wanted his love. It was all alot...she had looked nervous that day...she was. Tears started to stream quietly from her eyes...she didn't bother to blink them back. She lay silent..trapped in her rage. Why speaking her mind was never something she wanted to do, she always had things thrown back into her face about it. Her father's words, Tulips words and now Seg...why was it that every time she voiced her opinions she was killed in spirit. Orchid smiled a sad little smile at CF, "I know what you say is all true, but I don't want her view of either of them to be ruined...they are the only fathers she have." Orchid admitted, she was trying hard to control her sobs. Her body started to shake, she had to get control. Orchid stopped looked down at her pups and breathed it has to be okay...like the last ones she had to be strong for no one but them. with that she stopped shaking her body back in tow. Her tail gave a weak wag in agreement. "I want to and I will, I thought I had been doing good until now." She said
The wolf fey heard her sons voice from the back of the den. He'd stayed behind, "Asante, I believe I have hurt your father...I am fine if you hate me for it," she turned to Cealia, "Seems I've been speaking at the wrong times a lot in my life. I probably should have spoke up earlier maybe it wouldn't have gotten this bad." Her tail lay limp behind her the pups started to squeal in pleasure as they'd gotten full again. "No my son, killing him insures no closure for anyone. If you kill him, he wins. It may seem like you win but he has gotten to you so badly that he's driven you mad. I am strong I did what I had to do, I can deal with all my bad choices...and I will what ever the consequences are my son it's not your responsibility for you to take care of them, neither was it your fathers, and I was wrong in asking him to do so." She said..."Sometimes I think I moved to hastily to find love...I think we may be to badly broken to fix it." She admitted to her son...she wanted to badly to fix it but if he changed his life for her and this is what happens they may have to be apart for life to return to normal. Orchid didn't want to think about it anymore, "Leave it be Asante...it's not your problem, or your fathers. It is mine and when it's time I will fix it. We built it from nothing real...no foundation...trust or history we've tumbled to nothing. I don't know how to even start to pick up the pieces."
She turned to CF knowing he'd understand, "I am done being quiet...checking the ground for paws so I don't step on them. I am not a victim and won't be made into one...I lost a fight that's what happen when bad choices are made...you lose my consequences were not that bad either I had lots of good things from it. I am done being afraid of taking a risk."
