Asante stayed at the back of the den where he had waited silently in the shadow. Watching the puppies, all of them. He knew that Seg and Orchid would both be angry at him if any harm came to one of their little heads. His head raised only when Orchid commanded Cealia to stay. Cealia of course argued back. A frown creased his face. Orchid was very tense to be yelling at her own daughter. He kept his mouth closed, lowering his head to the ground. He loved his mother very much, but would not comfort her enless she asked for him. Watching Cross Fire through his translucent eyes he let the one away from them drift slowly closing.
"Mom." He said almost in hopes that she had not forgotten him in the shadows. "I know where Rapier is. Thats were i was when i was sent away. I will go to him and kill him if it will make you feel better. Please tell me to do something, i want to help." Asante moved his head towards her a sad look in his eyes. "Please dont look so sad."
