Faust listened, his heart giving a violent jerk at the words of this pack's alphess. Blind eyes traveled to the spot she'd left from, ears flicking around as more spoke up. Katana's brother was right, the ones affected most were those that were the deceased fem's own blood. Ears twisting with the coming sounds of a breeze, Faust gathered the simialar movements of feathers dotting the surrounding crowd. When Katana followed her brother's leave, Faust did now, instead turning slowly to fully face the spot where the two wolves faced off. One, he noticed, wore a twittering feather at his chest, defined by the way the wind bounced off it's fluttering surface. Faust took ten or so pacec backward to allow for more room.
Midnight Rei closed her eyes tightly knowing she was not mentally prepared to watch the battle. Her white paws shifted uneasily, glancing up to the sky that was beginning to deepen. The wolfess gave a quick glance to Young, then her boys before turning toe and following in the direction of Orchid. She didn't really know Seg's new mate very well, but her last words made sure she at least wanted to. At the moment, Rei needed as much emotional support as possible. Leaving Nanaki and Zack, she went a slightly different way than the direction of her den.
Cloud watched as Armony followed Orchid out of the scene, not completely understanding the look she gave him. Nodding to her in turn, the brute's gold eyes turned to survey Black Rain. Something in the other brute's posture, his confident and calm being, was reassuring. Cloud's still gaze turned slowly to Seg, emotionless and empty. "Now is the beginning of the end," he stated simply before turning around and walking to his comrade's daughter and sons, the one that was currently departing the scene. He quietly sate behind them, golden eyes watching just above their heads.
Sol listened to everyone in turn growing steadily in her rage until it was broken by the sad voice beside her. Glancing over with icy blue eyes, the fem's face was a mixture of emotions. She wanted to tell Tomahawk he was wrong, to ensure him that he was not at fault for everything, but he took off before she could open her mouth. The fem's icy blue eyes shot to Seg in rage; yet another thing he'd caused. Toma didn't need this right now. She gave a frantic look toward her father, catching his eye and looking toward the sky where the tri-colored brute was disappearing steadily. Looking back to Black Rain, Sol got her answer in the form of a nod and smile. "Good luck," she said, eyes locked on him briefly and face serious. With that she darted away, looking up to the sky to follow her friend.
Others left the group, a bit of unintelligable muttering in their wake. When motion had ceased, Alia stood with her sister, not missing the fight for the world. Cadenza had backed away, snorting still at the way Seg had addressed her. She was, however, happy that the stupidity would, perhaps, cease and the fighting would commence. The young opalescent dragon flumped to her side a ways off, emerald green eyes gleaming over the scene.
The large black brute frowned with both Karasu and Orchid's speeches. His icy blue eyes traveled to the red feather that whispered with the wind at his chest, turning back to Seg with a stoney glare. It settle once more to a calm reserve. It was time for this all to end. "Nothing is true," he said slowly, lowering his head and spreading his paws to distribute his weight more liberally, a smirk growing on his features. "Everything is permitted..."
