Lucky paced around. He heard Orchids words and filed it away. He knew she had never cared about him, no matter what he did to make it better. He truly could care less. He was about to send back a biting retort when Seg beat him to it.
He hoped Rakketty would not intervene. Sure enough he bent down and whispered to Lucky,"Want me to run to the den and warn Cealia?"
"No, she will follow her Alpha, as she should, or she wont, nothing we do will change that."
He noticed movement at the edge of the clearing as another wolf bounded up. Unlike the others this one did not immediatly speak out against Seg. ~perhaps this wolf will act like a real wolf. Support and obey his Alpha, no matter what the situation.~
Lucky walked over to stand beside the young wolf. He smelled like Seg so he assumed he was an adopted Seg, like himself. "Hello, My name is Lucky. To catch you up Black Rain has challenged Seg for leadership. On the grounds that Segs decisions are bad and result in pack members deaths. A lot of the wolves present do not support Seg at all. Orchid has abandoned him and will probably attempt to keep his pups away from him. If my squirrel friend here can live by wolf ideals better then most of a packs members thier is something wrong," Lucky quietly whispered to Kimari.
