Seg saw Orchid out of the corner of his eye. How he wished she had stayed with the new pups. Seg's ears twitched quickly to Tyheams words. "I understand what you say Tyheam and agree to a degree, but i do not need to 'defend' the pack from Black Rain. It is my position that im suppose to defend, but i question why we must fight if the whole pack would rather see me gone." Seg said it with sadness in his voice.
Keeping his eyes away from Saiyan he responded clearly. "I did not ask why you were here" Seg said keeping his temper down. "I will call the pack if i choose. It is my choice as Alpha as well." Seg said his eyes darting to Saiyan now.
They quickly left her though as Sen spoke up. "No Sen im not asking you if i should fight him, im asking you, and everyone else if they think i have done things wrong and am leading the pack bad. If so, then i will step down imediatly. I have always done what is best for the pack and i admit that i have made wrong descisions lately." Turning his ears away from Sen who he hoped understood what he was trying to say heard a low voice towards Orchid. This creature Seg was quickly beganing to dislike. He was lurking and hanging around Orchid like he owned her or was protecting her. The only reason Seg did not dart towards him and chase him away was for Orchids sake. If she trusted him it was her business Seg could only protect her to the degree she would let him. Trying to ignore it for now he eyed the new arrivals.
"Why would i not try to prolong 'this'. I am hurt by Black Rains words. I feel betrayed by my family, and why? because i made a choice of my own free will and it didnt turn out to be glorious?"
Seg turned his head to listen to Sol one that he knew very well and would have never expected her to voice. "The same thing i thought you needed me for. Is this not a pack Sol? Is'nt a pack suppose to be a family?" Seg tried not to show his disgust at her words but they hurt even deeper. What had all these children been doing lately? They were all sweet and smart growing up in the pack lands.
Seg ignored Black Rains words to the blind wolf. As much as it angered him when it was him that was always the welcomer, he let Black Rain get away with it. Seeing as it amused him. Although he was not amused by the young dragons tone.
"You better watch your manners here Dragon." Anger welling up fast suddenly. His hatred for dragons was still deep down and vanishing by the secounds. "You were not invited to be here and your pushing my patience for you to remain."
More wolves were appearing around them and Seg saw that everyone was nearly here that would be.
"What?" Seg said turning to Karasu. "I pray you tell where i was a coward and made a bad desicion." Seg said locking his eyes on the pup. What had possesed all the creatures here had Black Rain talked to them all before them and told them lies. It seemed they all hated him for many unknown reasons when all he ever did was do his best for them.
Seg looked over to Lucky one of his many adopted sons. He seemed to be the only one on Seg's 'side' of understand. He wanted to smile at him but he did not. He left his attention on Karasu waiting for his answer before he continued anything.
