A silvery blue form zigzagged over the frosty ground, matching frosty blue nose obviously on someone’s trail. The brute’s ears twitched at the sound of voices, blind eyes looking up to stare vaguely in the direction that the sounds came from. The wolfess’ trail he’d been following seemed to connect to that spot. “Andromeda, I think I found her,” he said, ear twitching behind him to the young Holly-Berry Feasting Dragon that clung to his back. Andromeda’s tail gave a few happy flicks, all that Faust needed as an answer. The frosty blue wolf picked up his pace, reaching the crowd within a minute. As he neared the many pack members, totally unaware of what was going on, his ears were at a constant swivel, picking up sounds to make a mental image that his eyes couldn’t. Faust deftly weaved in and out of the strangers as if he weren’t even blind, coming to a halt in front of Katana with a smile. “I found him,” he said, unaware of the many eyes that were starting to turn on him and his oblivious entrance. “I found Karasu and he told be me should be here soon. Said he had a few things to do. See, I told you it would only take a couple weeks.” Faust wagged his tail cheerfully, only just realizing that he may have interrupted something. Turning to face the rest of the crowd with blind eyes, the brute tilted his head slightly. “Um sorry, am I interrupting something?”
Black Rain’s tail began to wag as the pack formulated around the already small group that had been there. His and Flaming Rose’s family seemed to make up the majority of the gathering, though there were quite a few that he either didn’t really know well or didn’t know at all. Icy blue eyes glancing to his three children as they came, he noticed Rei’s nerves were a bit worn. He’d told her many times not to depend to deeply on the stars. Undoubtedly they had not told her what to expect today. Giving he a smile, the brute’s ear flicked backwards to his other daughter, remaining silent as she spoke. Everyone seemed to be saying the same thing: ‘stop procrastinating and make a decision’. The large black brute had to admit he agreed, but was not about to become aggravated like many of the pack members.
As the strange frosty colored wolf entered with confusion, Black Rain couldn’t help but chuckle. The large black wolf wagged his tail and shook his head a bit. “Well, not really,” he answered Faust’s question. “We are waiting for more arrivals. You are more than welcome to join us in our affairs as you appear to be Katana’s friend.” To be honest, he didn’t really care if Seg disagreed. He knew Katana and her sister would not mind one more and neither would his children. The brute looked beside him as a large opalescent white dragon made herself noticeable. He’d asked Cadenza to remain outside of the issue at hand, but could he really expect her not to join the commotion?
“Why are you wasting everyone’s time, old man?” she chimed in, adding her two cents with her large emerald eyes on Seg. The highly mixed dragon’s eyes couldn’t help but wander around to everyone present. Cadenza had waited so long to see her home, so long to meet her family. She just wanted this stuff to get done and over with so she could have a proper life. “Get to fighting or get to stepping.” She fell silent at the look Black Rain gave her but retained her stony glare at the sage eyed wolf. In Cadenza’s mind, Seg had no authority over her.. Even if he were alpha and remained that way, the only person’s opinion she cared about besides her own was that of her caretaker.
