Sen just looked around at his call, not saying a word and not letting her feelings known, quite yet, she would have her moment. The black and gold wolfess let her tail flick lightly looking at Seg, Black Rain then Orchid and the red male. It didn't hit her until she caught a glimpse of the emerald eyes. The ones seen in her own daughters and many others of the family. The golden eyes just watched then moved around behind her so that she could see if any of her other family would be coming. When the unknown white wolfess spoke Sen nodded, "Yes I was wondering the same thing Seg, why do you need us to decide what you should do? It doesn't matter who the challenger it, only that it has been made… I'm sure it was equally hard for Black Rain to come to this decision of battling you as well, remember he had the same feelings in the beginning, and he obviously had reason to think what he does." Her voice was strong, but as Sen was, it held little emotion making her speech seem like she didn't care about anything.
Behind her at Flaming Rose's den flurry of action was going on. Tethe'Alla was talking with her daughter who had just returned from one of her small ventures along with her aqua. Mizu and Aries had just returned from their daily trip to Traydon Riven when the felt something was off. The mother daughter pair caught the howl along with a few others that had been sleeping earlier of just arriving back to their mother's den. Katana and her Albino gryphon, Aura, where among them. As a group they all left, Mizu being the only one out of the loop to why her alpha had called her.
As the lot of them arrived the all went to Sen, Mieu Sen's dragon standing close to her while FR's own dragons, Kyoshi and Komali were on the ground. Kyoshi looked up seeing her mate and a few of her own children over head before turning her attention back down at the end of Sen's speech, along with the rest of the adults her and Komali, two of Flaming Rose‘s own dragons had known of this and agreed with Black Rain‘s reasoning. The red winged dragon respected Seg, but his own love for Flaming Rose, his mother and closest friend was gone and without her support found himself with little to go on anymore, but to watch pups and talk with Sen and whoever else visited the den where he was always found. Both he and the metal dragoness had waited for this day to come.
Mizu on the other hand to hold herself back to running to the wolf she deemed her grandfather, she was confused, by the situation but recalling what the black wolf had said to her at the river it all made since. Sen had chosen not to tell the younger ones, like her and Tethe'Alla's pups much preferring them to stay out of all and keep their distance, but since Seg called all of that was for nothing now, all of the family, pups and all, would dutifully come to the call. Aries put his dragon paw over his owner, pulling her in close knowing she would want to jump in with Black Rain even if her mother was here to tell her no, only the teal dragon could keep the young wolfess in check.
Tethe'Alla's mismatched gaze was on Orchid, taking in her reaction. The group had missed the majority of the white wolfess' speech so she was unsure what was said and if the tri-colored wolfess too could put in her own words. The oldest daughter of Flaming Rose looked around at the rest of the Pack and some of the others that had gathered her one good emerald eye now set on the wolf standing protectively over Orchid. It then moved to Mizu and she knew that the old wolf was family in some way she would explore this later, for now there was a battle to be fought if Seg could bring himself to do it.
Katana stood in the back, she had failed to find Karasu and her blind friend she had made also vanished. Aura her gift from her brother’s gryphon stood next to her watching everything that was going on and scanning the sky for her mother. She figured Kana would show up with Karasu and hopefully that would brighten Katana’s spirits.
Cross Fire gave a low growl at Seg’s words. An alpha has his duties and Cross Fire couldn’t believe his ears at what he heard from the smaller black wolf. He looked down, Orchid seemed to think the same way and bending down he said in her ear. “You ready to go back?” He knew he had seen enough to get enough of a first impression on Seg, and it was a call for his pack, and Cross Fire was here for Orchid and her pups, not the alpha. Plus he also figured the two young ones in the den would want to answer the call and her young pups needed their mother. The red wolf wouldn’t say any of this though, he waited for the Alphess’ commands. While he waited he felt many eyes on him, Sen’s and Tethe’Alla’s and caught the black wolfess. He had a lot of catching up to do that much he could tell as more and more of his family gathered. He would make a point to visit his daughter’s den later after the battle.
