The red and black wolf rolled around in the soft cover of frost near the peak of Ice Pack, cooling his body from the warm spring air. The young male had refrained from venturing further down the mountain ever since his father told him that he was challenging Seg. Being blind, a battle scene he wasn't involved with was probably a bad place to be. Granted he functioned just fine with his handicap, even almost normal, Nastrix didn't want to chance any stray bullets.
A voice sounded just over the other side of the hill causing Nastrix to roll to his black paws and perk his red ears. Blind eyes looked vaguely in the direction that the sound came from, black fringed tail sweeping slowly back and forth. The young brute's black nose twitched, but the scent that came to him was far from familiar. Wearing a smile, the wolf pranced over the hill's crest, stopping barely and inch from the wolfess' nose. The wind gave a gust, bouncing off the fem and telling him he was too close. Taking a step back, Nastrix wagged his tail.
"Hi, I'm Nastrix and we've never met, thought I should change that," he said, foggy blue eyes staring a little off of where her gaze was. Another gust of wind blasted between the wolves and this time he noticed how the current folded off a small bundle vaguely wolf shaped. "Oh pup!" he said, spinning around and wagging his tail rather fast. Remember that he'd just spoken to a stranger and that this was probably her pup, he shook his head and straightened up, facing her again and clearing his throat with embarrassment. ADHD? Definitely.
