Rosie was the lead. After all of the time lost, of going missing for so long, they had yet to find out what had become of the mountain. Behind her trailed Mystery, his tail wagging lowly as they trotted through the thinning snow. Beside him was Skott, mumbling something here and there about Toxikk and how mad she was going to be about his absence. Behind them both was Tranquility. Her puppy-like attitude flowed around her like a happy aura, so that even Sorax, beside her, smiled slightly. Sorax's shining, smooth feline fur shone slightly in the light. He kept himself near Tranquility, almost a different species of a father to her.
Mystery paused once he heard voices. He jerked his head slightly towards the noise, and the mini pack trotted after him to the small gathering. There they noticed some wolves they all recognized. Tranquility sat a bit away from Orchid, feeling safer near to fem, Sorax by her side. Rosie walked over beside Lucky, a wolf younger than she that she hadly knew at all, as stared at the scene of Black Rain and Seg with a confused expression. She soon listened to them and discovered the news herself.
A challenge, eh? Rosie stood, her tail still behind her as Mystery and Skott sat at each of her sides, listening in to the conversation. News of their return would have to wait until later.
