Seg almost laughed outright at Black Rain. Although he didnt, years of expierence took hold over him and he remained level. His body tensed as he spoke now rising to where his rank was. With his body seeming to grow a few inches he looked nearly Black Rains size. "Are you calling me old Black Rain." Seg said a smile coming from the corner of his mouth. "I cannot believe you would think i was the only one who made these 'bad' descisions." Taking a step forward he looked around at the ones that stood around them. Seeing Sen he smiled. She had always been like a daughter to him. "You do not know enough to take this position Black Rain. Otherwise i might think about stepping down." Seg glared across the path that led to BR. He hadnt wanted to teach Black Rain a lesson like this. "Perhaps you have forgotten as well that if i were to step down i would speak with the pack first. Their opinion is more important then mine. Its how i have always run this pack." Seg felt his body heating, preparing for a fight if need be. In his mind he still did not believe Black Rain would fight. Why should he. Seg had run the ice pack for years, always leading them down the right road. Avoiding conflict as best they could, making alliances with the proper creatures and packs.
Keeping his green eyes on Black Rain he didnt not move or shift a inch. Black Rain was his family, he had always trusted him more then anyone. Perking his ears forward he spoke, slowly, surely, "I see that another one of my 'bad' descisions was making you Beta of this pack. I should have left the position free like it had always been through my rule." The words were like ice yet calm. Seg's patience seemed to be draining. Black Rains crazy attitude was not changing.
