She woke at his voice the only voice that could bring her from the dead and release her from a trance. Orchid had only been sleeping for an hour when Seg came in...game in maw...she smiled. "Hello there." she said to him, "...Want to know their names? The little red one..her name is Caelia, the Orange and white one is Apollo...and the black one there...he's as strong as any other...he's Seth." She said lightly looking from them to him as she spoke their names. She didn't want them to die...they where hers...they were to her his too. "They will never belong to anyone else...just you and I." She said waging her tail.
She was more than happy to let him warm them. Orchid got up and moved...the pups yipped in argument...as she move. Orchid nuzzled Seg hard...putting all of her motherly weight on him...loving lavishly on him. "as much as that is a joke my love...I will dote on them...and you will be the only father they know. Don't be me...they have me, be you." she said taking the hare in her paws and tearing into it.
She knew Seg hurt from this litter as much as she did. "I promise we will have ours." she said...She couldn't bring back her virginity...she couldn't give back her purity...it was gone...Orchid felt horrible that in all that was theirs. She no long had anything to give Seg that was special. "I'm sorry I couldn't give you myself first." she said sadly not looking at him...just at the pups. When ever she apologized she never could look Seg in the eye...she felt responsible...like being there was asking for trouble.
