Two invisible hands were choking her lips and holding her lips closed. Malinke felt her cheekbones burning and wished it would stop but they only became warmer. What should she do? The stormy gray sighed and closed her eyes. 'Just greet him like you would a wolf.' When she opened her eyes her beak parted to say something, but only a faint squeak came out. She snapped shut, but then thought to herself that this must be just as awkward for him as it was for her. Looking at her toes, she tried again: "Malinke."
