Tri-Colored adolescent wolf moved over the snowy lands like a pro now that he was larger and more accustomed to this land of ice. Mello looked around with dark chocolate brown eyes, carefully scanning the white slopes for any interlopers or unwanted eyes and ears. He moved down to the lake that was just now becoming unfrozen for the winter and looked around again then a deep blue lightning bolt stuck randomly though the skies.
He wasn't nervous or daunted by this abnormality Mello's eyes just continued to dart around then finally his eyes caught the sight he was waiting for. Flying high in the sky was a dark blue metal dragon diving in his direction. As the obviously young blue metal landed he could tell his master and only friend was displeased.
"Took you long enough Atma." Mello said walking up and looking over the half grown dragon. "Run into problems from your journey?"
Atma's mahogany eyes looked down upon the wolf and shook his head. "Nothing to bad, I saw that mixed breed of your sisters, but I don't think she saw me."
Mello snorted, it was hard stealing Atma's egg from his sister those long four months ago right out of her den. He remembered it so well, it was a lot of fun.
He saw his sister carrying the odd object in her mouth as she came back from one of her many adventures in the mountains. He knew what it was instantly and knew he must take it before it hatched. He followed her to her den keeping a careful eye out for her "pet" Izani and that annoying boyfriend Caska that she though was so well hidden and such a big secret. Finally she after she placed the egg in her den she quickly left again leaving him the chance to sneak in and snatch the egg from her. It was hard to get it far enough away for it was as almost at the time as big as him. It seemed like hours what was only minutes to get it out of the den and into the woods where it hatched one day later into the dark blue metal dragon that stood in front of him today.
He laughed as he remembered this then looked at the dragon who was staring out over the icy waters. "So Atma what would you like to do?" He questioned casually.
The dragon grinned still looking out over the water, "I'd like to spar, like always Mello."
