Seg caught the scent of the familair she-wolf. His wings drooped sad for a secound. He had told her daughter that he would talk with her. To try to share the load a bit. Turning on his heels he raced towards DoD.
The small black wolf caught sight of DoD down the hill. His feet slipped across the snow, speeding him to her faster.
"DoD" Seg said his breath half gone from his lungs. "Welcome home." Letting his eyes break from her he dare'nt let her see them. He knew she would spot the grief they held. "Sister, you know we all love you here. Your family has brought joy to these lands for generations" Seg said giving his tail a small wagg. "I carry bad news, I wish it weren't so." Clearing his throat he let his green misty eyes connect with hers.
"Your mate has fallen" He knew there was no way to make the news softer. He took a step towards her, hoping she would not shatter under this information. "I must admit that i heard this secound person, i was just heading to the prayer grounds to see for myself. If you would like to join me i would be more then happy to have you come." He kept his concentration on her, waiting for her to absorb all this.
